Hello!

Hey, it's my first post! Hmmm......what to say......I hope you don't want to hear about how crafty I am, or how perfect my life is. You wouldn't believe it anyway, so I'll spare you the sappy-ness and go straight to the truth. I do have a pretty great life, but I've been resisting making our family a blog because I don't want to feel the pressure of making everything appear perfect in order to compete with the rest of you. But I'm weak, and under a little pressure from my kids and a cute (but pushy) friend, I caved. Besides, this is the closest I'll ever come to scrapbooking and my poor kids will have nothing to look back on and reminisce. This counts as keeping a family history, right?! So you'll have to cut me some slack and decide for yourself whether you want to continue reading, because I'm not going to sugar coat this!

My kids are punks! Beautiful, smart, helpful, amazing punks, but punks none-the-less. My house is a disaster most of the time, the laundry pile is currently big enough for my kids to bury each other in (I have pictures, but I refuse to post them), I don't make any of my kids hair bows, and I am always running 15 minutes late! I am in the P.T.A., but I'm pretty sure they would like to fire me, I hate yard work, and some days I forget or choose not to shower and get dressed. Let me know if I've left anything out.
My husband is a punk too! He's also brilliant, thoughtful, funny and supportive, not to mention kind of cute. He spoils me rotten and he's really fun to hang out with, but he knows exactly how to push my buttons and thoroughly enjoys making me crazy a lot of the time. We fight every single day and we make up (almost) every single day. Are you jealous yet? Keep reading. This is our life.

I'm so glad you've decided to be a blogger. I love being able to keep up on what everyone's doing. (Does that make me caring or nosey?)

You're Char's cousin, eh? I saw your comment on her blog and popped on over here to check yours out. I think I'm gonna like you. I don't make my daughter hairbows either. That's what Gymboree is for.

Great post! (And one that the majority of us can totally relate to, I'm sure!) Your girls are so cute; I especially love the pictures of Noelle and her weird sleeping postures- the one in the tub is just bizarre! How did she do that???
